Faster dermatological care for your patients, in multiple ways

This is how we work together to shorten waiting lists. With tele-expertise, you submit a case to a dermatologist yourself for a second opinion. With teledermatology, your patient starts a consultation via your code, and you receive the report in their medical file.

What you get as a partner

Six benefits for you and your patients

Skindr offers GPs two complementary solutions. With tele-expertise, you are in the driver's seat; with teledermatology, your patient takes the initiative. Each card explains which solution it refers to.

Faster teledermatology for your patients

Patients who use your code start a teledermatology consultation themselves and receive personal advice from a certified dermatologist within 48 hours, instead of waiting for months.

Tele-expertise with a dermatologist

Submit a case yourself to an affiliated dermatologist and receive a second opinion within 72 hours, weekends included. You remain the treating physician.

Free AI skin checks

Perform an AI skin check during your consultation for immediate insight into a potential condition. This is not medical advice; you always make the final decision.

Partner materials

POS material, patient leaflets, a waiting room poster with a QR code, and referral cards, so your patients know you can refer them for teledermatology.

Education by dermatologists

Partner webinars on rosacea, psoriasis, and perioral dermatitis, presented by Skindr dermatologists.

The report in the medical record

Following a teledermatology consultation, you as the GMD holder will receive a report containing the dermatologist's medical advice and clinical reasoning. This keeps you informed and allows you to learn from every referral.

How it works

Two solutions, two ways of working

Ask a fellow dermatologist for a second opinion

You choose a dermatologist from the list of affiliated dermatologists and receive an answer within 72 hours, including weekends. You remain the treating physician and decide on the approach.

Tele-expertise takes place between you and the dermatologist. Skindr only facilitates the platform and is not a party to the consultation. The AI skin check is not medical advice; the healthcare provider always makes the final decision.

Your patient starts a consultation themselves, and you stay informed.

Your patient uses your code and receives personal advice from a certified dermatologist within 48 hours. As the GMD holder, you receive the report in the medical file.

Teledermatology puts the patient first, with the dermatologist providing direct advice.
How it works

Two solutions, two ways of working

As a GP, you are in the driver's seat. You request a second opinion from a dermatologist within the government framework for tele-expertise, and you remain the treating physician.

Step 01

Choose a dermatologist

From the Skindr Pro platform, select a dermatologist from the list of affiliated dermatologists and describe your query, including photos and relevant information.

Step 02

Receive an answer

The dermatologist responds within 72 hours, including weekends. This timeframe is set by the government.

Step 03

You decide on the approach

You receive the dermatologist's second opinion and decide for yourself how to further treat or follow up with your patient.

Your patient takes the initiative and the dermatologist provides direct advice. You stay informed, as the report is added to your patient's medical file.

Step 01

Refer

Provide your unique referral code. The patient downloads the app, completes a questionnaire, and uploads photos.

Step 02

Advice within 48 hours

The patient receives personal medical advice and can continue to ask questions via chat for days afterwards.

Step 03

The report in your file

As the GMD holder, you receive the report with the dermatologist's advice and clinical reasoning so that you stay informed.

Step 01

Take a photo during the consultation

Use the AI skin check in Skindr Pro, without any extra tools or costs.

Step 02

Get an indication immediately

The AI provides an indication of a possible condition to support your decision.

Step 03

You decide

The AI skin check is not medical advice. You choose: treat yourself, refer, or request a teleconsultation.

Accessible for your patient

Both solutions are partially reimbursed

Tele-expertise is reimbursed by the NIHDI within the government framework. A teledermatology consultation via Skindr costs €49, and many patients receive a partial refund from their health insurance fund or hospitalisation insurance.
