To use Skindr independently, you must be at least 18 years old. As a parent, you can start a consultation for your child if they are under 18. You can also start a consultation for another family member or someone you are responsible for.
One consultation is intended for one patient and one specific skin concern. During the consultation, the dermatologist reviews everything related to that concern. If you have several separate skin concerns, such as acne and eczema, start a separate consultation for each one. This allows the dermatologist to assess each concern carefully and give it the attention it needs.
Hair loss can have many different causes, so the appropriate approach varies from person to person. A dermatologist assesses factors such as the type of hair loss, possible underlying causes and your individual situation.
Based on this assessment, the dermatologist can advise you on possible next steps and further follow-up. For some types of hair loss, additional examination or an in-person consultation may be appropriate. You can find more information about hair loss and its possible causes in this blog post.
A dermatologist can medically assess your hair loss and help determine the type of hair loss and its possible causes. Based on your individual situation, the dermatologist provides medical advice on the possible next steps. If necessary, additional examinations or an in-person consultation may be recommended.
Try to prevent your child from scratching irritated skin and care for their skin regularly using mild, fragrance-free products. Keep the skin well moisturized and, where possible, avoid products or situations that seem to make the irritation worse.
If the symptoms persist, get worse or you're concerned, a dermatologist can assess your child's skin and provide personalized medical advice on the next steps.
