In 95% of cases, the dermatologist can provide advice and a treatment plan based on photos alone, without a physical appointment. The dermatologist will always carefully consider whether an in-person visit would be beneficial.
Should your specific skin condition require further examination at a practice, we ensure you can access the nearest Skindr dermatologist as quickly as possible.
Absolutely. In most cases, a skin condition doesn't disappear overnight, and we want to support patients throughout the entire process. The dermatologist decides how long the consultation stays open and when you can start a (paid) follow-up consultation. During follow-ups, we monitor your healing progress, make adjustments if needed, and new documents can be made available digitally. You can upload new photos of your condition and ask your dermatologist questions.
Depending on the consultation type you have chosen, you can ask additional questions to your dermatologist via the in-app chat, just as in a physical consultation. How long you can ask questions depends on the consultation type you chose.
A consultation with a dermatologist via Skindr starts from €49. The doctor reviews your information and photos and sends you advice along with any necessary digital documents. You can ask your dermatologist additional questions via chat.

1. After registering, you can describe your skin problem in detail and upload photos via your smartphone.
2. Your dermatologist may ask for additional information or photos. If necessary, the dermatologist will contact you by phone.
3. The dermatologist will provide advice and any necessary documents are made available digitally via the app or your identity card.
4. You'll receive a Skindr notification by email when your doctor has responded.
5. You can continue to ask additional questions via the platform until the consultation is closed by your dermatologist.
