With Skindr, you don't have to wait weeks or months for an appointment with a dermatologist. You start your consultation online and choose how quickly you'd like to receive a response.

Depending on the type of consultation you choose, the following response times apply:

• ‍Standard (€49): response within 5 working days.
• ‍Fast help (€59): response within 48 hours, including weekends.
• ‍Even faster help (€99): response within 24 hours, including weekends.

Once the dermatologist has assessed your consultation, you'll receive a notification and can view your medical advice in the Skindr app.

After reviewing your photos and information, your dermatologist provides personalized medical advice tailored to your skin concern and individual situation.

The dermatologist clearly explains the next steps and what you should keep in mind. Your medical advice remains easily accessible in the Skindr app, so you can review it again whenever needed.

If you have additional questions, you can ask your dermatologist through the chat. How long you can continue asking questions depends on the type of consultation you selected.

The dermatologists working through Skindr are licensed medical specialists in dermatology. After completing their medical degree, they undertook specialist training in dermatology.

Our dermatologists have clinical experience with a wide range of concerns involving the skin, hair and nails. Many combine their work through Skindr with clinical work in a hospital or their own practice.

Through Skindr, they assess your skin concern based on the information and photos you provide and offer personalized medical advice on the next steps.

Depending on your health insurance fund or insurer, you may be eligible for a discount or reimbursement for your Skindr consultation.

To use Skindr independently, you must be at least 18 years old. As a parent, you can start a consultation for your child through your own Skindr account.

Here's how it works:

1. Start a new consultation and indicate that it is for your child.  
2. Enter your child's details.  
3. Upload clear photos and describe the skin concern as thoroughly as possible.  
4. Enter your own contact details.

As the parent, you communicate directly with the dermatologist through Skindr and can ask additional questions.

You can also start a consultation in the same way for another family member or someone you are responsible for.

In 95% of cases, the dermatologist can assess your skin concern online based on photos and the information you provide, and offer personalized medical advice. During the assessment, the dermatologist will also determine whether an in-person appointment or further examination is needed.

If your skin concern needs to be examined in person, the dermatologist will let you know and advise you on the next steps. Where possible, Skindr can help refer you for further examination.

One consultation is intended for one patient and one specific skin concern. During the consultation, the dermatologist reviews everything related to that concern. If you have several separate skin concerns, such as acne and eczema, start a separate consultation for each one. This allows the dermatologist to assess each concern carefully and give it the attention it needs.

To use Skindr independently, you must be at least 18 years old. As a parent, you can start a consultation for your child if they are under 18. You can also start a consultation for another family member or someone you are responsible for.

4. After the assessment, you receive personalized medical advice and clear information about the next steps in the Skindr app.
5. You’ll receive a notification when your dermatologist’s advice is available.
6. You can then ask additional questions through the chat. How long you can do this depends on the type of consultation you selected.

If your skin concern cannot be sufficiently assessed online, the dermatologist will let you know and advise you on the next steps.
