A skin problem? Instead of waiting weeks or even months, Skindr offers inside 30 hours advice from a licensed dermatologist. More than 100,000 people already trust the largest dermatology clinic in Belgium. Thanks to the simple, digital approach, no one has to wait long to get the care they need.

The recent investment round of €2 million, led by Coformaco, Conny Vandendriessche's family office, together with existing investors such as Mitiska and Nicolas Linkens, confirms Skindr's success. Since its launch in 2021, Skindr has already 25,000 patients helped, with an average wait time of just 30 hours. Together with investors, Skindr continues to work on accessible and rapid dermatological care for everyone.

A complete treatment plan for every patient

Skindr offers a comprehensive treatment plan that goes beyond medical diagnosis. The process starts with a few clear photos of the skin problem, which are uploaded via the app. A licensed dermatologist assesses these images and suggests 30 hours draw up a treatment plan. This includes not only medication and advice on how to address the condition, but also personal skin care recommendations.

Dr. Annelies Avermaete, co-founder of Skindr, explains: “Many patients are overwhelmed by the wide range of skin care products. That's why each treatment plan includes not only medical guidance, but also specific advice about which products really work.” This approach works particularly well for conditions such as acne and eczema, in which Skindr has built up expertise.

In addition, Skindr's digital operations also offer space for regular follow-up, so that patients continue to be helped quickly and efficiently. In case of urgent cases, such as a suspicion of skin cancer, patients can visit one of the ten physical locations in Belgium within a week.

Accessible care without compromise

In a country where often up to 12 months should be waited for a dermatological consultation, Skindr offers a groundbreaking alternative. Thanks to the digital approach, patients no longer have to adapt to long waiting times or time-consuming journeys. Moreover, healthcare is affordable: collaborations with Helan, AG Insurance and CM ensure that more and more patients have access to dermatological care at no high cost.

CEO Jochen Boeykens notes:

“Although digital consultations are currently not fully reimbursed, further reimbursement is being actively carried out. From 2025, Skindr will expand to Brussels and Wallonia to make quality care available throughout Belgium.”

Cooperation with UZ Brussel

Skindr works with UZ Brussel to make healthcare even more efficient. Thanks to this collaboration, patients can be referred more quickly to a physical appointment at UZ Brussel when necessary. “By combining digital consultations and targeted referrals, we provide a better approach, especially for chronic conditions,” says dr. Avermaete.
